AT&T Dunk District

At the iconic Venice Beach basketball courts where the energy of street basketball meets the heartbeat of Los Angeles culture – AT&T debuted the AT&T Dunk District, a dynamic pop-up destination designed to bring fans closer to the game through creativity, connectivity and community during NBA All-Star Weekend. Celebrating AT&T's ownership of the AT&T Slam Dunk and extension of our season-long "Ball for All" campaign, AT&T’s Venice Beach takeover leveraged all things Slam Dunk to make basketball fans' dunk dreams come true.

The AT&T Dunk District was filled with interactive experiences, including the AT&T Dunk Bus, AT&T's hero activation whcih allowed fans to land their own slam dunk for a one-of-a-kind video takeaway with a customizable hoop at the height of their choice. Guests were than able to see themselves on our big screens in the AT&T Slam Dunk Wall of Fame. The decked out bus also featured a mirror selfie photo op, NBA 2K gaming stations, and a digital postcard wall for NBA fans of all ages to share moments of connection.

Fans were able to walk away with premium items that continuously celebrated basketball culture at Venice Beach. NBA All-Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander headlined the fashion-forward ShaiT&T experience to showcase customized items for guests to choose from. LA’s own Laci Jordan designed a custom tote, t-shirt and skate deck with Shai’s brother, Thomasi, creating a limited edition Shai x Masi t-shirts exclusively for AT&T customers. Attendees on-site could also design a personalized phone case, transforming their devices into individual expressions of creativity. Additionally, guests were able to enjoy a delicious way to dunk through their food vy receiving free meal vouchers from food local vendors parked within the Dunk District.

Throughout the weekend, the AT&T Dunk District was a hotspot for NBA talent Meet & Greets, including highlighted appearances by superstars Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Boban Marjanovic, Karl Anthony Townes, Dominique Wilkins, Jamaal Crawford, and AT&T Slam Dunk contest winner Keshad Johnson. Streaming stars Clix, Jesser and Kris London brought the vibes worldwide with an XSET-produced livestream, teaming up with Chris Paul, Baron Davis and Jason Terry for a legendary 2v2 competition.

AT&T NBA Crossover

As a marquee partner of NBA Crossover, AT&T extended their footprint across Los Angeles with a lounge made in mind for basketball fans to rest and recharge throughout all the activity at NBA All- Star Weekend. Guests were able to power up between performances and appearances at the Hardwood Classic stage with comfortable seating around AT&T charging stations. AT&T showed California love with a palm tree art installation constructed out of custom AT&T Blue basketballs in front of backdrop designed by Cali native, D’ana Nunez for a popular and organic photo op.  AT&T customers were especially surprised and delighted by portable charger giveaways and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander All-Star jerseys,
